The side door of St Edmund’s church is fully accessible to wheelchairs. There are a limited number of parking spaces in the church yard and although these are not signposted for blue badge holders, parishioners normally reserve these for disabled, elderly and infirm Mass goers. If anyone has difficulty in securing a space, one can be secured in advance by getting in touch with Fr Charles.

Gluten-free hosts can be used by prior arrangement with Fr Charles

Wheel chair access to the chapel is fully accessible to wheelchair users with the proviso that a helper needs to be on hand to open both parts of the double door, and possibly help the wheelchair over a minor lip. For Mass and other chapel events there are always welcomers and helpers available near the door. The Jay’s Green Hall also has wheelchair accessibility from the rear, though a helper will ensure easy access.
