What does Lent mean to you?

Here’s what some of our parishioners think.

Whether you are a regular parishioner, new to the parish, returning to the Church, a visitor, or perhaps just interested in what we do, our parish community extends a warm welcome – through the pages of this website – to you all.

The Roman Catholic Parish of St Edmund, King and Martyr, covers an extensive area around the towns of Bungay and Harleston.

Fr Ch pic 2I have been the Parish Priest here since 2006, and am a Benedictine from Downside Abbey, which has had responsibility for this parish and for Beccles since 1657. I am available to be contacted (contact form and telephone numbers below) at any time to help you with any queries you may have regarding sacramental and other services offered by the Church. This website tells you almost everything you need to know about our parish life, so enjoy exploring it.
